Who We Are.

We are a full service radon company. Our two principal owners, Tony Hay and Brian Benasutti are certified by the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) and National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) in both radon measurement and radon mitigation.

Founder Brian Benasutti

Brian has over 19 years in the construction business. With his experience as a licensed general contractor specializing in remodeling older homes, he has the knowledge and understanding of construction methods and techniques. It was his interest in the environment and building green that brought him into the business of protecting people from the effects of radon. He is committed to improving the health of your home and family.

Founder Tony Hay

Tony has been involved in the construction industry for over 22 years. He is licensed and insured in the State of Minnesota in general construction. He brings his general construction knowledge to the team and to each customers' custom installation. His extensive background in construction gives the customer an easy feeling knowing that their mitigation system will be installed in the most aesthetic pleasing fashion as possible. This also gives the customer a full service provider in order to cover any other situations that might arise from an installation.

What We Do.

Minnesota Radon Specialists is a full service provider. We are certified in radon measurement and mitigation. That means we will measure radon levels in your home using professional measuring equipment that is calibrated annually and cross checked with other measuring methods regularly. If high radon levels are found, we will design a system for your specific home and install it using the highest quality construction methods and material. We warranty all of our work.

Although there is no licensing or certification requirements in Minnesota, we participate in a voluntary certification program administered by the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) and the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA). This program requires proper training, continuing education, quality assurance and professionalism recognizing public health and safety as out first priority.
